  • Great post! Events are indeed projects. Like others, I'd add: Project Kickstart. Gave you some kudos and link on my own blot http://www.thevirtualpresenter.com/?p=201. Thx!
  • Thanks for the trackback Roger. I was very interested in reading your blog.

  • This is my project management software: it is quite complete, in particulare version 4 coming out now (free licenses included): see http://twproject.blogspot.com/2009/01/teamwork-...

Add www.5pmweb.com to the projects management ones.
  • Great list. I love Basecamp, it's very user friendly, just wish they had a free option though
  • I agree, hopefully they'll release a free basic version.

  • These are some great project management tools! These have helped me much in managing non-event related projects too. Thanks!
  • Also check out Intervals, a web-based project management app that includes time tracking and task management, as well as a few other features that make managing projects much easier.
  • You missed out on Nozbe:

    http://nozbe.com

It's a time and project management app based on the "Getting things done" principles.

It's got a native iPhone app now, too.

Just wanted to make your list complete :-)
  • Note to those promoting their service: I appreciate you guys filling up the list, but would prefer if you could use another tone, specially when you are promoting your own product.
E.g. No="You missed out" Yes="This may complete the list" This is very appreciated when you are getting a do-follow link from a popular post, instead of being marked as spam.
    Thanks

Thanks for Gantt Project template link. You have no idea how much time you have saved me next week. This template is so easy to use. I love it. Thanks again. Jenn

Good list but should have included DeskAway in the list of Project Management Software. It is very simple and easy to use and provides a lot of features with security (SSL enabled) & is much affordable & better than other pm tools.

  • You should have also mentioned RationalPlan in the Project Management Software category (
http://www.rationalplan.com ) and Efigio ToDo Organizer for the To do lists category ( http://www.efigioorganizer.com/efigio-todo-orga... )

Here's a shameless plug for SharedPlan. We provide online tools with unlimited users plus a free desktop app for Mac OS X and Windows.
