I liked and hated the list.
I like the social networking emphasis alot. It gave me some good ideas/reminders.
Icould go the rest of my life without the “i or attendees must be heard” mindset though.
Illustrated in points like:1-You do not collect discussion, wasting precious content & 2-You don’t mix speakers with attendees, but prefer to keep barriers to direct interaction.
Additionally, most live bloggers alluded to in your “In fact you don’t suggest live blogging” are technie/mover and shaker wannabes attempting to prove to the world their web 2.0 prowess.

Finally, I don’t care for a lot of “save the earth” talk. I know this is a lefty mindset but so is ” i must be heard”
Other than these things i liked the list.

    Take care.

    Hey Asa
great comment, I love strong opinions.
Obviously I feel very touched by the fact that the world is in this situation because not a lot of people push the We need to save the world thing. And also, I am very annoyed by the prejudice on bloggers, those who you are referring to are the wannabe journalists :-)
I am happy to hear that my post served at least half the purpose which really makes my day!
Thank you and I would really see a blog with your opinion on!
