thanks for the link. In fact I read that article and bought 2 books on starting an event planning business.

- How to Start a Home-Based Event Planning Business [Paperback] by Moran, Jill S.

- Marketing Your Event Planning Business: A Creative Approach to Gaining the Competitive Edge (Hardcover)

I am halfway to both of them and I must say that Moran's is very practical and gets down to the business.

It has inspired my latest posts and really got me acting instead of just reading and reading.

Judy Allen's work on the other hand is pretty much about marketing. As I did my BA and MBA majoring in Marketing it didn't add much to my prior knowledge.

I think it is a must buy for those lacking of marketing skills
