I’ve written extensively about the delicate and intricate relationship between event planners and speakers. Some speakers just don’t get how events work, some planners do not empower their speakers.

I feel privileged to talk about this subject as both a professional keynote and as someone that curates content for events, therefore hires speakers (and writers for this blog – a very similar process). I’ve learned a few tricks from both sides that make it work.

I am not a fan of pleasing others, I am a fan of giving you tips that can make an immediate difference for your event. This is such a crucial part of the event planning process that just a simple mistake can cost you thousands. It is not my interest to defend anyone involved in this special relationship, it is my objective to give you tactics to make it work.
