Founder and CEO, Choura

Ryan Choura is the Founder and CEO of Choura, a full-service experience and event production company.

After 20 years producing iconic events like Coachella, the San Diego Comic-Con, and the US Open Championship, Ryan had to pivot to keep his team together and his doors open by building the largest coronavirus testing facilities in the nation through his new company, Lifeline Health Services.

Ryan now uses his Covid testing expertise to help us get back to live events, starting with one on July 23rd. Ryan channels goodness and meaning into everything he builds — from festivals and sporting events to testing venues and hospital sites.

Jenny is currently the Senior Director of Event Sales for SBE Lifestyle Hospitality in Los Angeles and has over 12 years of experience in hospitality specializing in luxury social member clubs, hotels, and award winning restaurants & bars.

Jenny combines her expertise in event programming and event sales to create editorial events, experiences, and programming that improves customer experience, sales and retention.

Leading her own production company, Mprojekts Creative, Meschida Philip uses over a decade of experience to support the film industry with a range of services including direction, production and location management and strategy development.

Meschida is committed to developing a new and sustainable industry that provides visibility to Caribbean talent and culture, and her primary interests are social issues like immigration, education and the rights of women and children. Her mission is to use film as the vehicle for social awareness.

Dahlia has an OMG-attitude about all things tech and audience engagement solutions. With more than a decade of experience in the meetings and events sector, working on both the professional planning side and as an association collaborator, Dahlia is known as the coffee-fuelled ‘go-to’ source for trend-setting solutions, eventtech news, and social media expertise.

Her mission is to untether the busy professional from their desktop and office and enable them to be more efficient and productive working from a beach in Mexico [umbrella drink in hand] through their mobile device utilizing smart solutions and apps.

Tom Gardiner
Head of Product Marketing, SpotMe

Originally, from the UK, he spent 7 years as a scientist and consultant, before transitioning over to marketing, where he has spent 8 years helping companies launch products, brands and accelerate their growth (in healthcare, HR and most recently event tech).

As the Head of Product Marketing and member of the SpotMe executive team, Tom is responsible for all marketing efforts, both inbound and outbound. He is based out of the New York office.

Chris has been at the forefront of virtual events since 2015 (long before COVID-19). Wallace Johnson is a 20 year veteran of the audiovisual industry and is the principal of WLJ Consulting. Using his trademarked "The Successful Process" methodology, Wallace focuses on a company’s People, Processes, and Technology to help event and AV companies build confidence and trust in what they do. Wallace also works as a technical producer, providing oversight and management support, and sits on several AV-related educational boards.

Gerd de Bruycker
Marketing Director, Cisco Systems

Gerd De Bruycker is a marketing director at Cisco Systems concentrating on the EMEA market with 20 years of experience in event marketing.

His primary focus is the role of events in marketing more broadly and as part of the customer journey. He is responsible for Cisco’s top regional events like Cisco Live.

Shawn Cheng

With over 20 years in events, Mahoganey Jones is the founder and principal planner behind Event Specialists, where she organizes the full gamut of events from conferences and concerts to trade shows and retreats. Her motto? “Do what you love and love what you do.”

Ronald Lim
Co-founder and Event Producer, Think Tank Productions

Ronald Lim is a Co-founder and Event Producer at Think Tank Productions based in Kuala Lumpur where he works alongside established agencies and government organisations to manage and execute a wide range of conferences for brands like Danone Dumex, Shell, Chevron, and MCI.

Ronald was the first Sarawakian appointed to the United Nations International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and served as the Technical Consultant for the Telecom World Congress 2016 in Bangkok, Thailand which hosted 24 Prime Ministers, Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers from various countries — a position that he has retained since.

Ronald is the only Sarawakian on the Editorial Advisory Board of Asia’s leading Business Events magazine, Biz Events Asia for 2019.

Elena Clowes
Creative Events Producer

Elena is currently a Creative Producer for the award winning agency Cheerful Twentyfirst, where she works on projects from pitch to onsite and virtual delivery, translating brand and campaign strategy into live and online experiences. Elena is also a co-founder of Event First Steps, an initiative designed to help industry newcomers forge their own career paths.

  • The message "Please complete all required fields." appears even if I've filled all fields
    Scenario 1

    This may happen with old versions of browsers not compatible with our invisible recaptcha or not correctly showing the registration terms that should appear after selecting the country.
    Please refer to the first point "Browser support" in order to solve the issue.

    Scenario 2

    Some autocomplete extensions may create problems with the country field selection.
    You can solve the issue:
    - deactivating the autocomplete extension
    - manually filling the form
    - manually selecting the country in the select field
    If successfull you should be able to view the Terms section right under the country field.

  • The submit button doesn't work

    This may happen with old versions of browsers not compatible with our invisible recaptcha or not correctly showing the registration terms that should appear after selecting the country. Please refer to the first point “Browser support” in order to solve the issue.

  • I didn’t receive the confirmation email
