She has also spoken at the United Nations and her talk was broadcasted on United Nations Television and translated into eight languages. With a background in Information Technology, Brent has spent the past fifteen years bringing technology solutions to the meetings industry. Brent and the Digital team created PSAV’s digital solutions such as Content Management Systems, Audience Engagement Systems, Virtual Event Solutions, Digital Signs, and Mobile Solutions. More recently, following the acquisition of Concise, the Concise and Digital teams were merged to combine technology solutions and build new event solutions. Brent has been with PSAV since 2009. Mike is the Founder and CEO of Glisser, award winning audience engagement software. Prior to forming Glisser, Mike was a Chief Marketing Officer working in the telecoms and financial services industries, where he was responsible for multi-million dollar budgets with a significant weighting towards client and employee events. Most recently Mike was at Octopus Investments, a London fund manager and venture capital company, where he helped grow assets under management from £500m to £4 billion in five years. Octopus ran over 200 events each year, yet by streamlining the meeting design approach and deploying technology and resources effectively, employed just one Events Planner.

WILLIAM THOMSON
MD, Gallus Events
William ran his first paid for online event in 2005 "controversially" charging the same price for the online as the physical event. William now runs Europe's largest online training and virtual events business for executive assistants, Practically Perfect PA. As an organiser and business strategist, William is a firm believer in the role that virtual has in replacing revenue from physical events.

  • Browser support

    The registration form works at best with the latest versions of the most common browsers:
    Google Chrome, v.80
    Microsoft Edge, v.80
    Mozilla Firefox, v.74
    Safari, v.13

  • The message "Please complete all required fields." appears even if I've filled all fields
    Scenario 1

    This may happen with old versions of browsers not compatible with our invisible recaptcha or not correctly showing the registration terms that should appear after selecting the country.
    Please refer to the first point "Browser support" in order to solve the issue.

    Scenario 2

    Some autocomplete extensions may create problems with the country field selection.
    You can solve the issue:
    - deactivating the autocomplete extension
    - manually filling the form
    - manually selecting the country in the select field
    If successfull you should be able to view the Terms section right under the country field.

  • The submit button doesn't work

    This may happen with old versions of browsers not compatible with our invisible recaptcha or not correctly showing the registration terms that should appear after selecting the country. Please refer to the first point “Browser support” in order to solve the issue.

  • I didn’t receive the confirmation email
    Scenario 1

    According to the type of registration, Webinar or Report, you should receive a confirmation from no-reply @ zoom.us or contact @ eventmanagerblog.com
    Some minutes are needed in order for our system to send the email.
    If it didn't happen please follow these instructions based on your email manager

    Gmail:
    Select More
    Select Spam
    Search for no-reply @ zoom.us or contact @ eventmanagerblog.com
    Note: For Gmail you can also search all mail folders, by selecting All Mail under More, then searching for no-reply @ zoom.us or contact @ eventmanagerblog.com

    Outlook:
    Select Junk Mail.
    Search for no-reply @ zoom.us or contact @ eventmanagerblog.com

    Yahoo:
    Select Spam.
    Search for no-reply @ zoom.us or contact @ eventmanagerblog.com

    If you can’t find your email there are chances that your mail system/network blocks the email coming from no-reply @ zoom.us or contact @ eventmanagerblog.com

    Scenario 2
