Good planning should be at the heart of any event but before you get to planning, get analyzing. SWOT analysis is one of the best tools. Here's how to do it easily.

A contextual analysis is always welcome whether we are managing a large or small event.

One of the most used tools to understand the context in which we are organizing our event is the SWOT analysis.

This tool can be a waste of time if we do not apply it to our strategy.

SWOT Analysis Guides Strategy

In fact, by identifying Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats we should try to come up with a strategy that leverages on our strengths to exploit opportunities or defend us from threats. On the other hand, we should be aware of our weaknesses to find new resources or to protect them from risks.
